The script is a dramatisation of the unfortunate Burke & Wills trek across Australia. EMI commissioned Rattigan to write the script but it didn't work out, and the film wasn't released until 1985 starring Nigel Havers, with a new script by Michael Thomas. 145pp, rectos only, bradbound in yellow covers with window. Some staining to the covers and a little foxing to the edges of the sheets, but excellent overall. Number 24 to the first sheet. Also included are 14 letters (some photocopies) dating from 1969-1976. The letters regard the sale of rights of the film, financial arrangements with Veric and British Lion Films. Very Good. Item #12904
