Underwood Miller, 1980. First / First. Hardback. A very good copy. The first hardback edition, preceded by the ACE PBO of 1969. Third in the Planet of Adventure series. Some soiling to the boards, collector's plate to the front pastedown, block edges a little foxed. Jack Vance (1916–2013) was an American author and winner of Hugo, Nebula, and Edgar. His Dying Earth stories created the 'fire-and-forget' magic system that was later adopted by the game Dungeons & Dragons. Very Good. Item #12796
