London & New York: Warne, 1891. Second / First. Paperback. A very good copy. A trip to Mars. This is the second edition, being the first with the Jules Verne introduction. Of most interest though is a copyright property sheet laid into the book stating that 3,000 copies of the first edition were printed and 2625 of the second edition (no note on how many were cased).  The has been rebound at some point in plain cloth, with the upper wrapper bound in. The book has two previous collector's bookplates; one to the front pastedown and one to the front free endpaper, and some dustiness, but neat overall. 6pp ads to the rear, with the lower wrapper also bound in. The wraps edition is much scarcer than the cased edition, but, alas, this copy is now a hybrid of the two! Very Good. Item #13532
