London: John Hamilton, nd [1931]. First / First. Hardback. A good copy. Inscribed by the author to the title page. Uncommon in the jacket. "[A] space opera … revolving around an attempted invasion of Earth and Mars from the planet Mercury." [SFE, Clute]. The jacket has loss to the upper spine tip, looseness elsewhere, with a large tear to the lower spine tip. General wear and toning. The jacket is almost certainly a marriage. The book is toned to the spine, top edge dusty. Good / Good. Item #13444
