Tottenville, NY: C. Shea, 1880. First / First. Paperback. A near fine copy. 40pp, 8 x 11.5cm. Original wrappers. Very uncommon and seemingly his first book. A couple of teenagers save a professor from a snake, so he takes them to the moon in his balloon (a fair trade). Dwarves live on the moon. I bet you didn't know that. A fantastic entry in the canon of American interplanetary fiction. Wrappers a little worn with some tanning and staining, but an excellent copy overall. Near Fine. Item #13160
