Eight pages before the content comprising endpaper, blank, title and contents, then pages 1-492 (and an endpaper). No adverts, so no misspelling. Locke doesn't note this variant. TEG, spine lettering black.....

London: Ward Lock & Co., 1905. First / First. Hardback. A good copy. Standard Yellow Peril stuff, I guess. Ink rubbed on the boards, a little rubbing to the edges and tips and corners, top edge a touch chipped. Author's name misspelt on the title page.
